I’m in countdown mode now. Renee left for Barcelona yesterday for her school trip. And we have just under a week left till Spring break. I cannot wait!!

all went well and I have a very very happy daughter.
Our visas were issued and now she gets to go on her middle school trip and we don’t have to make such crazy flight connections just so to avoid going through customs!!
Obviously our trip to the capital was successful but definitely not without drama. This process is stressful and I hate it but it’s just one of those things that we can’t avoid!!
Anyway one more week to go and we’re out for vacation. I’m ready to head out.
a dear friend celebrated her 50th birthday, and let me just say she does not look 50. We gathered around her, had cake and coffee and wished her happiness. It was lovely.
yesterday was also a no coat day! Actually we’ve had a few of them. It was warm, beautiful and the ice was melting fast. It’s really been a mild kind of winter, but hey I’m not complaining.
Today….well we had an early morning dusting of snow with some string winds – weird if you ask me, but it is still winter.
Also today we have to make a trip to the capital city again to apply for visas ‘in person’. My daughter has a school trip next week and we’re cutting it close(no fault on our part) for visas but the situation is what it is!!
It’s such a hassle but we do what we have to do.
